Who are we?

A Mission of Mercy to the World

The Orthodox Hawaiian Iveron Icon Association (OHIIA), a pan-Orthodox non-profit organization was established in 2012 with a singular goal; to help in the mission of the Wonderworking “Hawaiian” Iveron Icon of the Mother of God.

This Holy Icon has changed the lives of countless individuals, through the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the continued intercession of the Most holy Theotokos.

Our Foundation's secondary charge is to build a memorial shrine (church) in Hawaii to the Mother of God, to someday house this Wonderworking Icon, which at the moment, has no church to call her own.

The Wonderworking "Hawaiian" Iveron Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos

The Story of the Wonderworking Myrrhstreaming Iveron Icon of Hawaii

In 2007, a great miracle was revealed to the Christian World, a humble image of the Virgin Mary began exuding myrrh in the home of an Orthodox Christian couple.  After months of careful examination and investigation, Orthodox Church authorities declared this a miracle worthy of all veneration.
